Why Choose an Extension?
A traditional extension is designed to be fully integrated into your home, and is built accordingly. All of our extensions are fully compliant with Building Regulations and include the sign off as standard. Whilst they do tend to be more expensive than their glazed extension counterparts, sometimes a traditional extension is what is required. For example, they can be can be more energy efficient than a glazed extension which is especially important if you are planning larger knock throughs or cut outs. Skylights and orangery lanterns can still be used in traditional extensions to give a real wow factor to the room, especially as a traditional extension tends to have less glazing, it can be a fantastic way to flood the house with natural light.

Here at ACW, we know that no two houses or projects are the same. That is why we are fully committed to working with you to find the approach that works the best. Whilst the majority of extensions are built from bricks and mortar, we regularly also regularly undertake timber framed and SIPs builds. These are ideal if access is limited, but also, are a fantastic solution if your preferred finish is render or cladding!
We can take care of everything!
Here at ACW, we have all the experts in the right places to ensure you have the smoothest and highest quality build. We can do as much or as little as you like on the build. Our typical packages include any necessary planning applications, design, building regs, ground and building work, glazing, roofing, plastering and electrics. But, we can even install kitchens, plumbing works, flooring and decorating. The choice is yours!
